Analisis Dampak Psikologis ANBK terhadap Kecemasan Kognitif Siswa
Abstract
The implementation of Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) is a strategic
government policy aimed at mapping the quality of education in Indonesia. However, this
assessment often triggers psychological pressure among elementary school students. This study
aims to analyze the impact of ANBK on students' cognitive anxiety, specifically focusing on
how negative thoughts regarding technical failures and complex literacy tasks hinder their
cognitive performance. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study
design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five elementary school students
and a literature review of relevant studies from the past five years. The results indicate that the
primary sources of students' cognitive anxiety are the lack of computer operational skills and
fear of technical errors, such as cursor loss or system crashes. These technical anxieties,
coupled with the pressure of complex literacy test formats, create negative cognitive
interference that obstructs students' ability to think logically. Consequently, students often feel
overwhelmed, leading to a tendency to guess answers hastily just to finish the assessment. The
study concludes that cognitive anxiety is a significant psychological barrier that reduces the
effectiveness of the assessment. Therefore, schools need to implement a more humanistic
approach by providing emotional support, consistent technical familiarization, and relaxation
techniques to build students' mental readiness. Strengthening emotional well-being is essential
to ensure that students can demonstrate their true potential without being hindered by
unnecessary fear of failure.
