NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM KITAB AYYUHAL WALAD KARYA AL IMAM ABU HAMID AL-GHAZALI

Abstract

This study aims to identify the Islamic educational values in the book Ayyuhal Walad by Al-Imam Hujjatul Islam Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali, understand the educational concepts in the book Ayyuhal Walad by Al-Imam Hujjatul Islam Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali, and investigate the implications of the Islamic educational concepts in the book Ayyuhal Walad by Al-Imam Hujjatul Islam Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali for education in Indonesia. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a type of library research. Data collection techniques involve documentation methods, with primary data sources from the book Ayyuhal Walad and secondary data sources from books, journals, and other related sources. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of the study show that the book Ayyuhal Walad by Imam Al-Ghazali contains the values of aqidah, worship, and morals in Islamic education. The book presents Islamic educational concepts that include the aims of Islamic education, the concept of knowledge and experience, educational material, and educational methods. The Islamic educational concepts in the book Ayyuhal Walad by Imam Al-Ghazali have implications for education in Indonesia.
