NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN IBADAH DALAM KELUARGA (Kajian QS.Luqman Ayat 13-14)

Abstract

This article discusses the values of worship education found in Surah Luqman verses 13–14, emphasizing the crucial role of the family as the primary foundation for shaping a child’s character and spirituality. The study aims to identify the worship-related educational values contained in these verses through a library research approach, using primary sources such as the Qur’an and various tafsir books, along with supporting literature on fiqh and family education. The analytical methods employed include discourse analysis, content analysis, and hermeneutics.

The findings reveal that Surah Luqman verses 13–14 contain worship education values encompassing aspects of monotheism (tauhid) and ethics (ibadah mahdah), as well as doing good and showing gratitude to parents (ibadah ghairu mahdah). These values are conveyed through educational methods such as advice, role modeling, dialogue, and repetition, with the primary goal of instilling monotheism and avoiding polytheism. The contextualization of these values remains relevant for shaping children's faith, ethics, and worship practices within today’s family life.
