Implementasi Kegiatan Literasi dalam Penggunaan Buku Pendamping Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Kelas VII SMP Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Aziz Tegal

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of literacy activities in the use of companion books for Arabic language learning for class VII of SMP Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Aziz Tegal. The article is a quantitative field research. The research was conducted for two months from March to April 2025, taking data from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of literacy activities with companion books for Arabic language learning for class VII of SMP Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Aziz began with the first stage, namely activity planning which includes the time of implementation, activity media, place, and materials to be used. The second stage, namely the implementation of activities, is carried out with opening activities, core activities, and closing activities. The third stage is evaluation, after the implementation of activities in the form of test assessment techniques with oral tests every week or every semester, students are tested individually regarding reading, translating, and explaining. Literacy activities run smoothly, conducively, communicatively, and effectively and make a positive contribution to the process and learning outcomes of students. These findings strengthen literacy activities that can be considered to improve student learning outcomes. Research recommends that literacy activities involve accompanying teachers for maximum results.
