Peer Review
All manuscripts submitted to Spektrum Akademika Journal undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of the published articles.
Initial Screening
Upon submission, the editorial team conducts a preliminary evaluation to assess the manuscript’s suitability with the journal’s scope, adherence to author guidelines, and compliance with ethical and academic standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected without further review.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed from each other. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
The reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including:
- Originality and novelty of the work
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
- Scientific and methodological rigor
- Clarity of presentation and organization
- Validity of data analysis and interpretation
- Significance of findings and contributions to the field
- Quality of references and literature review
- Ethical compliance, where applicable
Review Decisions
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revisions
- Accept with major revisions
- Resubmit for review
- Reject
Authors are required to address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript along with a detailed response to reviewers. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.
Final Decision
The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the quality of the revised manuscript, and compliance with the journal’s editorial policies.
Publication Ethics
The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism using appropriate similarity-detection software. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected.
Review Timeline
The journal aims to complete the peer-review process within 2–6 weeks from the date of submission. However, the review duration may vary depending on the availability of reviewers and the complexity of the manuscript.
By submitting a manuscript to Spektrum Akademika Journal, authors agree to participate in the peer-review process and comply with the journal’s ethical and editorial standards.
